ABOUT ME
I am an architect with a deep passion for history, design, and exploration. I hold a Master's degree in Architecture from Dokuz Eylül University, where my thesis focused on Flexibility and Variability in Multi-Story Steel Structural Residential Buildings.
Early in my career, driven by my interest in history and archaeology, I spent three years as an excavation architect at the Daskyleion archaeological excavation site. My role involved documenting, creating measured drawings, and archiving structural remains from the Persian period in Anatolia. Working on-site throughout the summer under the sun allowed me to refine my surveying and drafting techniques. Additionally, spending time with archaeologists provided me with the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of archaeology and mythology.
Beyond architecture, I am deeply curious about the universe, often diving into books on astronomy and space. My love for exploration extends to photography—I own analog SLR cameras and have spent time developing and printing my own black-and-white photographs.
Creativity plays a big role in my life. I enjoy building custom Lego designs, experimenting with different forms and structures, and sharing my creations on a dedicated Instagram page. Cooking is another passion, especially the precision and technique involved in knife skills.
When it comes to movement and discipline, I have explored sport rock climbing and have been cycling for years. For the past two years, I have been practicing Aikido, currently holding a 3rd Kyu rank.
Above all, I am happily married and a proud father of a son, always finding inspiration in everyday moments.
