ACIBADEM KENT HOSPITAL -
BLOCK D FACADE MODELING
Izmir , Turkey
(BIM modelling done by me at ETD Consultancy)
Project Overview
As part of the façade implementation project for Block D of Kent Hospital, designed by Acıbadem Project Management, I prepared a production-oriented model at LOD 500 level for the contractor responsible for the fabrication works. The project covers a 7-story structure with a construction area of 20,000 m².
The façade systems were modeled in modular panel format, detailed to serve directly as a reference for production and on-site assembly. Approximately 200 custom curtain wall panel families were created during the process. The model includes three different façade systems designed with four distinct aluminum profile types, all integrated with their corresponding application details.
The glass sun-shading panels were modeled with mounting details aligned with the profile systems. In addition, all façade-related components such as ceramic cladding joint patterns, sealing gaskets, and silicone applications were incorporated into the model. The BIM model was prepared with precision to enable accurate quantity take-offs and to support the fabrication and installation phases efficiently.
