Project Overview:
A 50,000 sqm commercial facility designed for BMW, Mini, Jaguar, and Land Rover, incorporating showrooms and workshops for after-sales services. The building was designed with a focus on sustainability and achieved LEED 2009 New Construction Gold Certification for its energy-efficient and environmentally friendly design.
Role:
As a Plan Designer and BIM Modeler, I contributed to the architectural design, modeling, and coordination of the project. My responsibilities included:
- Designing and modeling the architectural and structural elements.
- Ensuring coordination across disciplines to deliver an integrated design solution.
Project Goals and Achievements:
The project aimed to create a state-of-the-art facility for luxury automotive brands, combining functionality with sustainability. Achieving LEED Gold Certification reflects the project's commitment to minimizing environmental impact while providing a premium customer experience.
Methodology and Tools:
The project was developed as a BIM Level-2 initiative, with all disciplines designed and modeled in Revit 2015, ensuring precise coordination, streamlined workflows, and the production of high-quality construction documentation.
