DIVAN STAFF MOTEL
ERBIL , IRAQ
(Designed & Coordinated at Creative Design)
Project Overview:
Designed as staff accommodation for Divan Hotel in Erbil, this 224-room facility provides a comfortable, long-term living space for employees, many of whom relocated with their families. More than just a motel, the design fosters a residential atmosphere tailored to their needs.
Role & Responsibilities:
I was responsible for the architectural floor plan design, BIM modeling, and development of application (construction) drawings to ensure a functional and efficient layout. Additionally, I worked on the landscape design, integrating outdoor spaces harmoniously. I also defined the architectural program, aligning the project with the needs of the staff, and conducted quantity takeoff (BOQ) extraction using MasterFormat standards. To ensure the design intent was met, I led the visualization team, overseeing the production of high-quality representations of the project.
Methodology & Tools:
The project was fully designed in Revit, ensuring seamless interdisciplinary coordination, accurate BOQ calculations, and efficient application drawing production. This approach delivered a well-integrated, functional, and aesthetically refined living space.
