Project Overview:

Hewa City, located in Baghdad, Iraq, is a 688,800 m² urban development featuring over 3,000 residential units, including:

  • 78 Apartments: 8–9 story blocks along the outer boundary for clear views.
  • 388 Villas: Four types ranging from 200 m² to 550 m², creating a diverse residential layout.

The design includes:

  • Central Zone: A hub for social, educational, and commercial activities.
  • Commercial Areas: 100,000 m² near the main road and two 2,000 m² zones near the center.
  • Ring Road: Minimizing internal traffic and enhancing accessibility to central areas.

Role:

I developed the master plan, concept designs of villas and apartments, landscape design, and preliminary floor plans. I also supervised the visualization team and coordinated Revit modeling for accurate quantity takeoffs (BOQs).

Project Goals and Methodology:

The project aims to create a self-sufficient city with balanced residential and social spaces. Designed in Revit, it ensures efficient coordination and a seamless integration of natural and built environments.
