Extension Line of Kirazlı-Basaksehir, Kirazlı-Bakırkoy Metro Line

Project Overview:

A 9 km-long metro extension project featuring 7 stations. The Kirazlı-Bakırköy metro line integrates with key transportation networks, including M1A Yenikapı-Atatürk Airport Metro Line, Sefaköy-Hacıosman Metro Line, Marmaray, and IDO Bakırköy. The project stakeholders included Bayburt Group as the contractor, Yüksel Proje as the consultant, and AYGM (General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments) as the client.

Role:

As the Architectural Coordinator, I managed the teams responsible for architectural and interior design of the stations. My responsibilities included ensuring seamless coordination with other disciplines such as structural, electrical, mechanical, and alignment teams.

Project Goals and Achievements:

The primary goal was to deliver all required project designs within the designated budget and timeline to enable construction to commence. This objective was successfully achieved, and all necessary designs were completed and handed over for implementation on schedule.

Methodology and Tools:

The project was executed in Revit, enabling efficient coordination and the generation of precise quantities and schedules. The use of BIM facilitated effective design integration and streamlined the preparation of construction-ready documentation.
