POINT CLOUD MODELING

Point Cloud Modeling is an essential technique for accurately recreating existing buildings when original 3D project files are unavailable or when construction deviates from the original design. This process utilizes LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) laser scanning technology to generate a highly detailed point cloud, which serves as the foundation for precise architectural modeling.

Structural components such as walls, floors, ceilings, stairs, railings, windows, doors, decorative elements, and moldings are systematically reconstructed into an intelligent BIM model. If required, movable objects and furniture can also be incorporated for a more comprehensive digital twin.

I have successfully completed Point Cloud to BIM projects for residential buildings, shopping malls, libraries, and other specialized structures, delivering highly detailed and reliable as-built models that serve as valuable resources for renovation, documentation, and facility management.
