RURAL VILLAGE SCHOOL
IRAQ
(Designed & Coordinated at Creative Design)
Project Overview:
This rural village school was designed as a prototype for high-altitude locations, emphasizing adaptability and functionality. The single-story structure features a symmetrical layout centered around a covered courtyard, ensuring usability in all weather conditions. Surrounding the courtyard are eight classrooms: six standard rooms for 20 students each and two larger rooms for 40 students each, accommodating a total of 200 students.
The design follows the "form-follows-function" principle, creating an efficient and cohesive learning environment. The central courtyard serves as a communal gathering space, fostering interaction and flexibility for activities.
Role:
I was responsible for the architectural and landscape design, visualization, and complete BIM modeling. The project was entirely developed in Revit, ensuring precise coordination and detailed documentation. Designed as a modular prototype, the school can be adapted and constructed in multiple rural areas to address local educational needs.
Methodology and Tools:
The use of Revit enabled the creation of accurate 3D models and construction documentation, ensuring efficiency and scalability. The modular design allows cost-effective implementation, making it ideal for underserved communities.
