Project Overview:

Located in Nasiriyah, Iraq, this 395,547 m² master-planned community introduces an integrated approach to modern living. Designed on a sprawling 375,000 m² plot, Zaqwra City is a self-sufficient residential and commercial complex offering diverse amenities to its residents. The project focuses on affordability and convenience, making it an ideal living space for families.

Residential Areas:

  • Two types of low-cost villas (200 m² and 250 m²) with a total of 871 units.

Commercial and Community Facilities:

  • 9,014 m² of commercial areas, featuring two large shopping malls and two traditional bazaars.
  • Educational facilities, including nursery, kindergarten, primary, and secondary schools, ensuring safe walking access for children.
  • Religious and recreational amenities, such as prayer facilities, sports areas, and a swimming pool.

Healthcare Services:

  • An on-site clinic offering healthcare without the need to leave the city.

Role:

I was responsible for the architectural design, including the master plan and detailed floor plan development. The entire design process, including all architectural elements, was led by me. Additionally, I directed the visualization team to ensure design intent alignment and facilitated accurate material take-offs and quantities using Revit. This ensured precise and efficient project documentation.
